Easter day was a really sweet, yet crazy experience. From the looks on the girls faces when they saw their Easter baskets, to the Easter Egg Hunt, all the pictures that were taken, the candy that was eaten, and the pretty dresses. We tried everything we could to make it a great Easter experience for our kids. It turned out very special, we all really enjoyed ourselves that day. We woke up in the morning, very early because of that wonderful nine o' clock church. We called all the girls upstairs to look at their baskets, and all were very excited- except for Sheridan, who just wanted to go back to sleep. They went through their baskets packed full of candy and fun Easter toys, then went to quickly go get ready for church. We were all color coordinated in purple and yellow, with the exception of Brian who wasn't exactly fond of wearing either color. We headed off to church and listened to the great talks, and I got to teach my primary class (6 year olds) all about the Resurrection. When we got home, I pulled out my camera. None of the girls were too excited of the picture taking, but I got some really cute pictures. The Easter Egg Hunt was so fun for everyone, everyone participated. It made Easter just so much fun and special, filled with joy. We were a bit bummed that we couldn't go down to Nevada and spend Easter with our cousins this year, but staying at home and celebrating Easter ourselves worked out great, despite our disappointment.
